Behavior Modification

Behavior Modification is it's own niche within dog training. Dogs exhibiting fearfulness, overarousal, genetic, instinctual, and association based reactions or aggression aren't going to change if only the behavior is addressed. Reactivity and aggression stem from an emotional stand point. In order to see lasting change in a dog with these behavioral issues we need to go deeper than the surface. Behavior Modification involves multiple areas from creating new behaviors, emotional responses and associations, to clarifying communication, relationship building, as well as addressing old behaviors. There's no quick fix but there is a better way.
