GREAT experience/ long term results

I met Piper as an inexperienced and very young dog owner. I had a VERY reactive and anxiety-driven dog. She’s a poorly bred mix that I rescued. None of this phased Piper. I was in college and didn’t have very many resources at the time. I had gone through several different trainers, classes, and anything I could think of, and then I contacted Piper. We had our consultation, and she remained calm while I panicked. My anxiety and my dog’s reactivity were an awful combination. Piper not only worked on dog training, but training me as an owner. She gave me the tools and made me feel confident, even when she wasn’t around. She got to know me and my dog, which showed just how holistic her approach really is. She focused on what worked for us specifically and didn’t use a “one size fits all” approach. Piper even educated me about the breeds my dog is mixed with, which gave me insight into what would be best according to her genetics. I am now able to take my dog on walks that are stress-free. She loves a car ride, and I love having her in my life, when there was a time that I feared life with her would be unmanageable. I now have the confidence to be the best owner I can be, and to this day, I know that I can always reach out to Piper if I have any more questions. Highly recommend, and will always vouch for Piper!

Overwhelmed to confident

MOLLIE BUNTING

Piper was an incredible source of support during a time when I felt completely lost navigating a service dog access issue. What could have been an overwhelming and discouraging experience became something I could actually work through with clarity and confidence because of her guidance. She didn’t just provide information—she helped me understand my rights, think through my options, and approach situations calmly and effectively. Her patience and reassurance made a huge difference, especially when I was second-guessing myself. Because of Piper, I’ve grown into a much more confident and capable handler. I feel better prepared to advocate for myself and my dog, and I carry that confidence into every interaction now. I would absolutely recommend Piper not only for service dog guidance, but also for general pet training. Her knowledge, professionalism, and supportive approach make her an excellent choice for anyone looking to build a strong, positive relationship with their dog.

From burnout to Thriving

Piper started helping me with my Great Dane Torvi. She was burned out because our last trainer didn't respect her limits and pushed me to push her too far. That left her being washed out as a service dog permanently. She developed reactivity and I was at a loss leaving both of us frustrated with not great quality of life. Piper helped me understand how to work with a guardian breed and helped us build her back up so that she had the capacity to be able to work through the reactivity. We now can enjoy hiking, sitting on our porch. It’s been such a relief. We also were able to get Torvi into tracking and trailing where she is thriving! Our local police department has asked us to join them assisting in tracking and trailing because they are so impressed with what Piper has helped us achieve with Torvi! It’s been amazing and I’m beyond thankful for what we are accomplishing and the things that we are doing because of the dedication and help. From burnout, reactivity and disconnect to making a difference in our community. It’s amazing she was able to do this all from states away working with us virtually as we live in Pennsylvania. I wish I could give her 10 stars!!

She gave us our calm back

ERIC BYRD

We met Piper when my wife was struggling. I watched as she second guessed every decision she made about her service dog prospect and her SDiT that had developed reactivity after being attacked multiple times. After she started working with Piper I saw the confidence start to grow in her and our dogs. Seeing them do the thing after meeting Piper has been awesome. The day I took our reactive dog out to potty and instead of her going after the dog at our steps and check in with me showed just how far our household had come under Piper’s mentorship. I don't know where we'd be now if my wife hadn't started working with Piper. She's got her confidence and freedom back. I can't recommend Piper enough.

Count on Piper to find a way or make one

When I met Piper, I was a just a few months into training my own service dog and was seeking some advice and guidance around public access training. What I got in a support system was so much more. My own experiences as a pet professional had given me reservations around who I could trust with my dogs, but working with Piper has come naturally from the start because her integrity rings so loudly. I appreciate that I can always trust her to find a way or make one in any situation we come across while consistently addressing both ends of the leash. If you are seeking ground up solution based training support, you are exactly where you need to be.

Saved me and my dogs

I met Piper when I was at the end of my rope. I was grieving my first service dog, trying to find a balance with my now washed and reactive SDiT and trying to train my 3 month old SD prospect, in short I was drowning in grief and my own perceived failure. Piper helped me not only form a bond with my puppy that I was struggling with through creative and fun activities, she also showed me that my reactive dog was not beyond hope. She gave me the tools to bring her back to baseline. I went from seriously considering BE to a dog that can see other dogs without exploding to the end of her leash. Because of her guidance and patience through emotional breakdowns ( there was so much crying), doubting my own abilities and even more tears when everything started coming together that puppy is now a successful 3 year old working SD and the one that I had given up hope for is an in home SD for a Marine veteran and both a thriving in a way that didn't seem possible 3 years ago. Pipers mentorship, guidance and continued support through the years has been valuable beyond words. If your looking for a trainer that's going to be honest, realistic and set you up for success you've definitely found the one. She doesn't just say that both ends of the leash are important, she lives it and it shows in not just the dogs but the handlers as well.

Amazing Dog Trainer and Mentor!

I came to Piper for virtual training for my Service Dog Pluto. He was struggling with reactivity to dogs and walking on a leash. Piper didn’t just help us fix those issues, but taught me how to enrich and fulfil my dog. She taught me how to read his body language and helped me build strong foundations for communicating with him. I loved learning her methods and working with her as a client, so I joined her mentorship as well to become a dog trainer myself. The mentorship has taught me a lot about dog training, and helped prepare me to begin training dogs as a career. I highly recommend Piper as a trainer and mentor, for all things behaviour modification, and service work related. 🥰💕

Do not go to anyone else

MELANIE MEJIAS

Piper has been a huge help to the training of my dog Luca. After so many trainers she was my last hope within his reactive behavior and also being a husky. I don’t think I could trust anyone to train my dog if it’s not Piper. I’ve had times where I would have to have someone transport my dog to her, because she lived states away and her training and how professional she is are more than worth it. I highly recommend Piper’s training services—she’s truly god sent for dog parents who are struggling with their pups.

Best Bmod Trainer I've ever met

When I started working with Piper I had an APBT SDiT who had developed barrier reactivity following someone trying to steal my dog out of my car. Piper helped us work through the barrier reactivity while also being able to shape him still being able to maintain his task of letting me know when people were approaching my car, which was monumental in helping me maintain my independence. After he got attacked by a Great Dane (that almost killed him) Piper worked with me to help make sure that Ragnar was sound to continue working when he showed the want to continue (after he had physically healed). She supported me in that decision in a grounded and honest manner until it was time to make a different decision. It wasn't easy but as long as we were willing to put in the work and able to operate within her high standards she was willing to help us every step of the way. He had another year of solid working before his TBI became apparent. When I had to make the decision to send him over the rainbow bridge because of the rapid decline, Piper stood with me through losing him and helped me not drown through the 3 years of grieving and figuring out that the decline was due to a TBI.

Two and a half years ago I brought home a one year old stray that had been rescued. She had no training, no attention span and was extremely reactive towards my cats...they couldn't even be in the same room. Piper helped me build her from the ground up. She is now not only able to coexist with the cats but she's able to have healthy and respectful interactions with my cats, which is something I wasn’t sure was possible when we started.

When I got Moxie the damage from losing Ragnar left me with agoraphobia...I could hardly manage much more than to walk out my door to let my dogs potty. Piper has helped me build my relationship with my dog in a way that not only built both of us up but has healed my brain to the extent that I am now not only able to walk out my door but I’m able to enjoy freedoms most take for granted...getting my own groceries, going for a walk, training my dogs outside. I'm not going out because I have no choice; I'm out because I am able to enjoy being out and about. It’s given me my life back so much so that I am now even building my own business.

The things Piper has been able to help me accomplish I wouldn't have thought were even possible...not just with my dogs but personally as well. My current dogs have excellent quality of life because Piper helped me understand modifying behavior of not only my dogs but of myself. I would not go to anyone else for bmod help; I haven't had anyone else be able to help me understand my dogs and myself on such a deep level. When she says there are two ends to every leash and they both matter, she lives that with every aspect and in every detail in what she does.
